Prevent Horse Colic With Careful Management

With colic affecting up to 10% of horses each year, and leading to death in 11% of horses with the condition, it is an unfortunate fact of owning and caring for horses. Especially high-risk horses are stabled horses undergoing intense training, as well as fit horses who have recently suffered injury.

This knowledge alone equips us with great motivation to take action and protect our horses. There are intentional steps we can take to lessen the chances of colic. Further, if a horse does develop colic, we can act quickly to lessen the severity of symptoms.

Listed below are some of the management factors which are believed to help prevent horse colic. With sufficient and careful management, avoiding horse colic becomes possible.

How do ColiClenz Plus Pellets Help Prevent Horse Colic?

Independent research shows ColiClenz Plus Pellets used as a feed supplement assist in the control of horse colic caused by sand, parasitism, and other maladies resulting from toxins and lesions in a horse’s gut.

The notable benefits of Coliclenz are evident when fed correctly. This is key: ColiClenz works best when fed on a consistent schedule. This is because Coliclenz helps prevent horse colic using an ancient natural solution of soluble fiber found in psyllium husk.

Fed too frequently, a horse’s digestive system will become accustomed to the product. It will become less efficient in cleansing the animal’s digestive tract. When this happens, the bacteria residing in the animal’s gut will begin to digest the psyllium product, reducing its efficacy in purging foreign materials and toxins that can cause horse colic. This is why we recommend a 10-week feeding schedule for ColiClenz for the best results in preventing horse colic.

Research has shown large quantities of Coliclenz Plus Pellets fed in the proper dosage and intervals will achieve the desired result.
